Busy week!

Sunday we went and visited Uncle Donny and Aunt Lisa and took Josie to her first Hibachi experience. She was mesmerized by the flames and all the noise. The momarazzi, of course, forgot her camera but I got a few pictures on my camera phone. It's amazing how interactive she's become in the last few weeks, it's fun taking her out now.

She got a little hungry and decided Aunt Lisa's chin looked yummy.

We had some snow on Tuesday 2/22. Josie was unimpressed.

On Thursday we went and visited GiGi and Papaw. This was a great shot of her smiling. We stayed for a few hours and she was such a doll. It was so nice seeing her smile and laugh for others too.

Josie started teething and got her new best friend, Sophie the Giraffe.

So we're now in the beginnings of teething, it hasn't been too fun. Josie is a trooper though and excitedly chews on anything we put in her mouth! Her favorite thing to chew is definitely a finger, she doesn't really care who it belongs to.

We have been trying to assist her in sitting up, she seems so interested in it. She's got the tripod sit down for a few moments and then topples over. We are definitely getting some sort of jumperoo in the next week or so, the child is only happy if she is sitting up or standing.

We're going on a weekend trip to Ocean City next week with Pop Pop and Grandma Debbie. I'm sure there will be some fun pictures.

Obligatory Intro Post

Hey ya'll!

This will be our consolidated blog to update everyone on our life and most importantly, Josie growing up.

I named this blog "Josie Pokey" after what Joe sings to Josie while she "dances". She does the Josie pokey and then turns herself around...get it? She's still learning to "shake it all about".

I hope to update this at least every few days to show off pictures and to also chronicle some of my stay at home Mom adventures.

Josie earlier today hanging out in her Bumbo seat. She is really into watching what's going on and sitting up as much as possible.
